Ronald Eslinger Obituary

Ronald Verne Eslinger, 85, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the Carlisle Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. Ron was the son of the late Verne and Geraldine Eslinger. Ron was employed at Berg Electronics and retired as a Supervisor for DuPont Industries. He is survived by his wife Beverly (Haverstock) Eslinger of 66 years. His children; Mike (Cindy) Eslinger, Mark Eslinger, Christine (Edward) Limric, and Cheryl (Tim) Shearer, his Grandchildren; Brian (Rebecca) Eslinger, Kevin (Caitlin) Eslinger, Amanda Shearer (Ron Myers), Laura Shearer (Chris Dalton), Alex Limric, and Zachary Eslinger, his Great-Grandchildren; Oliver Eslinger, August Eslinger, Sloan Eslinger, (Baby Eslinger), Rhyli Shearer, Jacob Myers, Leena Dalton, Carter Dalton, Alex, Aubrey, Adam and Ashton Limric, his brother, Larry (Linda) Eslinger, his sister, Shelia (Jeff) Good. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Dianne Eslinger, Judy Watts, and brother-in-law Richard Watts. Ron was a member of the Perry Lodge F&AM 458, Marysville, PA, and the Enola Legion Post 751, Enola, PA, and the Enola Sportsmen’s Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Ron had Lots of good times, at the cabin, and boating at Glendale, near Prince Gallitzin State Park. He traveled abroad to France, and Switzerland. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Enola Legion Post 751, 295 W. Shady Lane, Enola, PA 17025. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry Lodge F&AM 458, 101 Sylvan Street, Marysville, PA 17053.
