Andrew Frange Obituary

Andrew William Frange, the son of Greek immigrants, born to Ruth and William Frange in New York City (The Bronx) on September 5, 1934, lived for a short time in Brooklyn and grew-up in Queens (Rego Park/Forest Hills), having moved to Enola, Pennsylvania with his beloved wife of 52 years in 1956, passed away in the very early hours of February 28, 2018.

After earning his degree from RCA Institute in New York City Dad worked on "Radio Row" in Manhattan during the height of the revolution in radio and television and then continued his career through the computer revolution for many years in the electronics industry, serving as branch and regional manager for various electronics companies as well as owning his own business.  Dad continued to work hard in many ways after his electronics industry career with his sons and otherwise during which he devotedly cared for his wife Rose Marie and continued to greatly enrich our lives, including as sales manager for a beachwear and design company.

Dad loved being with his family. "God, Family, Work - in that order" is what he taught us.  He enjoyed family time, the Jersey Shore, history, science, and helping us to be successful in our businesses and in our lives.

Beloved Father, from poor and humble beginnings on the streets of New York to steady and true family man who always put his family first after God.  A man who always did his best in quiet and sometimes imperceivable ways and never lost sight of those he loved despite extraordinary challenges.  We thank you for how hard you steadfastly worked to keep our family strong and together.  Your intense commitment, focus, and resolve carried you through much in life and was a profound blessing to us.

Dad's wisdom, deep inward resolve, and quiet and gentle nature was and is one of the foundations upon which our family is built.  We thank God for having given you to us. You will be forever missed and we are forever grateful.  You will always remain in our hearts.  May God Bless You.  We Love You Dad.

Andrew was the widower of Rose Marie (Worhacz) Frange.
He is survived by two sons; Scott A. Frange and Valerie Spence of Harrisburg, PA, Douglas R. Frange and Fiancé Ellen Filardo of Camp Hill, PA, two granddaughters; Jill Hollick (Kyle) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Chelsea Nolan (Damien) of Enola, PA, four Great-Grandsons; Torin Nolan, Gavin Hollick, Callum Nolan and Liam Hollick, Uncle Stephanos Karanassios (Anna) of Marousi, Greece, other relatives including cousin Dimitrios Frantzis and family of Potomac, Maryland.
