Caroline Maria Stark

Caroline Maria Stark, 19, of Enola, PA, passed from this world on November 2, 2018. She was born on December 21, 1998 in Harrisburg, PA and was the daughter of Melissa (Green) Stark of Enola, PA and Joseph L. Stark of Pittsburgh, PA.

Left behind to deal with her absence, in addition to her parents, are Caroline’s siblings, Joseph Stark and Amanda Beahm of Enola, PA, Misty Blankley of Dayton, OH, and Jessica Gorfti of Reading, PA; her paternal grandparents, Pap-Pap and Anni Slaugenhaupt of Monroeville, PA, her beloved nieces and nephews, not to mention extended family members too numerous to count - sisters and brothers in the struggle - and since Caroline would find remiss not to include her feline family Smoke, Tigger, and Grayson.

One of God’s most beautiful angels, she joins an exodus of souls from this earth after dark struggles and fierce battles with addiction.

Caroline had asked if her disease should take her, would we be honest about it.  In response we say that we honestly could not have loved her more nor been more proud of her bright shining light and Warrior Spirit.  To her sisters and brothers in the struggle, Caroline says “Love each other always but above all else, hold each other close EVERY day.”

Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday November 10, 2018 at the Richardson Funeral Home, 29 S. Enola Drive, Enola, PA.

A visitation will be from 1:00 PM till time of services at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, or if you wish to send a memorial contribution in Caroline’s name, the family has designated the charity Not One More (https://notonemore.net/donate/) to honor her memory and commitment to helping those still struggling with addiction.
