Elmer R. Ritchey

Elmer R. Ritchey, 96, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019

In Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, with his family by his side.  Elmer was a

Retired Machinist for Conrail. He was an Army Veteran of WWII where he received

A Bronze Star. He was a life member of the Penbrook American Legion Post 730, Rutherford VFW

Post 1213. Elmer was a charter member of the National WWII Museum Honor Roll, Louisiana.

He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg. He was the widower of Goldie L.

(Wakefield) Ritchey. Surviving are his children; Rob R. Ritchey (Darlene) ,

Sandra K. Larsen of Bowie, Maryland, Grandson, Robb R. Ritchey (Danielle) of Mechanicsburg,

2-Great-Grandchildren; Grayson and Jocelyn Ritchey, 2-sisters; Arlene Hughes of Mount Union,

Phyllis  Krouse, of Harrisburg, a sister-in-law, Shirley Byers of Huntingdon. Funeral Services

Will be held at 12 noon, July 6, 2019 in the Richardson Funeral Home, Enola. A viewing will be

Held from 11:00 AM until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in

Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
