Gail P. Shenck

Gail P. Shenck, 79, of Enola, PA, died on Friday, May 17, 2019.  Born in Pitman, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Arlene Miller.  She was a 1957 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and attended nursing school at Harrisburg Hospital.  She retired from the PA Department of Welfare where she worked for twenty years. 

She is survived by sons Donald, Barry (Lois), and Barton (Sailaja); by grandchildren Rachel, Elizabeth, Sidney, Mason and Lindsay; by brothers Edwin (Anne)and Richard.  She was preceded in death by stepdaughter Dale Carroll.  Gail was a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor, who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a member and pianist at the East Pennsboro Baptist Church.  She loved animals, especially cats.  In lieu of flowers you may choose to send a memorial donation to Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Drive, Pine Grove, PA  17963.  A memorial service will be held at the Richardson Funeral Home at 29 South Enola Drive, Enola,  PA on June 29,2019 at 12:00 Noon.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
