John Donnelly

John "Jack" Donnelly, 65, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017

at his home. Jack was a member of the American Legion Post 751, Enola, where he 

served as the first Commander of Sons of The American Legion. Jack went on to become 

the State Detachment Commander of the S.A.L., and also served as a National Chaplain 

for the S.A.L. Surviving is his wife, Deborah S. (Thorne) Donnelly, his daughter, Jennifer

"Snugger" Donnelly Morris and husband Jeph of Camp Hill, Stepson, Kevin Walters of 

California, a brother, James Donnelly and wife Donna of Mechanicsburg, 8-Grandchildren;

Kellan Morris, Braeden Morris, Taytton Walters, Nicole Shepley, Caillie Walters, Deanna Walters,

Zydan Walters, and Draven Walters, 2-Great-Grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death

by his parents; Richard and Rose Donnelly, a Stepson, Scott Walters, and a Brother, Richard Donnelly. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the Richardson Funeral Home, Enola. A visitation

will be held from 11:00 AM until time of services Saturday, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held 

at the convenience of the family.
