Melissa L. Trostle

Melissa L. (Stilo) Trostle, 49, of Etters, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday, January 11, 2019. 

Born on June 23, 1969, Melissa was the daughter of the late Richard A. and Janet L. Stilo (Cassel). She is survived by her mother, Sharon May Stilo; her children, Allison R. Trostle and Fiancé Manuel A. Gonzalez of Harrisburg, Erik J. Trostle of Enola; her beloved soulmate John A. Hicks; three brothers, Anthony A. Stilo of Harrisburg, Steven D. Stilo Sr. (Betsy) of Mechanicsburg, Matthew H. Vacondios (Michelle) of Naples, FL, a sister, Nichole I. Cahill (Michael) of Enola and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, and her “love bug”, her rescue dog, Fatty. 

Missy was a graduate of East Pennsboro High School class of 1988. She was a long-time employee of Dauphin County Probation services and most recently was employed with the Dauphin County Recorder of Deeds Office.  

In her free time, Missy loved spending time with family, relaxing on the beach, singing karaoke and hitting jackpots at the casino. She was loved by many and will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
