Melvin R. Knauss

Melvin R. Knauss, 91, of Enola, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at his home with his family by his side. Melvin served in the United States Navy, and retired from the Navy Depot. He was a member of the Enola American Legion post 751 and a member of The River Of God Church, Enola. Melvin loved  spending  time outdoors, fishing , hunting and also loved  wood working. Melvin is survived by his wife Phyllis A. (Liddick) Knauss of 69 years,  his children; Debra M. Dressel (Timothy) of Enola, Robert R. Knauss of Enola and Connie M. Stimeling (Melvin) of Harrisburg. Grandchildren; Wendy S. Fisher (Warren) of Marysville, Gary L. Witmer Jr.(Gia)  of Mechanicsburg, Melvin R. Stimeling III (Becky) of Duncannon, William R. Stimeling (Amy) of York Haven and 6 great-grandchildren and 1 Great-great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 11:00am,Thursday, October 17, 2019 in the River Of God Church, Enola, PA. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service at the church Thursday. Burial will be in  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA .
