Robert W. Baker, 69, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at his
home with his family by his side. Bob was a retired truck driver for UPS Freight of
Mechanicsburg. He served as a Marine during the Vietnam era. Bob enjoyed nature,
watching birds, squirrels, and deer. He especially loved his dog's Candy and Shadow. Bob was an avid fan of
Penn State football, Washington Nationals, and the Harrisburg Senators, but most of all
he loved dirt track racing. Surviving is his wife Judy A. (Shenk) Baker, his children; Robert F. Baker and companion,
Saboxat Davletova of Middletown, Timothy A. Baker and wife Melissa of Mt. Wolf, Jason S. Baker and wife
Kristine of Wayne, Michigan, and Christi A. Baker and companion, Kieran Moore of Marysville.
7-Grandchildren; Zachary, Logan, Allyson, Ashley, Emilee, Rory, and Kaitlyn. He was preceded in death by
his brothers; Russell Davis, Paul C. Baker Jr., William Baker, and his sisters; Janice Hoffman, and Judy Walters.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, September 7, 2018 in Glenvale Church of God, 1970 New
Valley Road, Marysville, PA 17053. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Burial will be in Longsdorf Cemetery, Silver Spring Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Fallen Heroes of the Mid-Atlantic States, care of Timothy Wright in Memory of Robert W. Baker, 476 Beech Tree
