Robert L. Conrad Sr., 85, of New Bloomfield and formerly of Enola, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 16, 2018
at his home with his family by his side. Bob was the son of the late Harold and Cora (Shuler) Conrad. Bob had attended
John Harris High School, and became a Navy Veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1951-1955 aboard the USS Piedmont.
He retired from the General Elevator Company with over 30 years of service. Bob was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, New
Bloomfield, and the New Bloomfield Lions Club. Before Bob moved to New Bloomfield, he was a member of Zion Lutheran Church Enola,
serving on it's music committee, and was a member of it's Choir. He was a past President of the East Pennsboro Lions Club, past Commander and member of the Enola American Legion Post 751, and a past Commander of the former Wormleysburg VFW. He was a
former member of the East Pennsboro School District Board, and the East Pennsboro Recreation Board. Bob was a former Coach of E.P.Y.A.L Teener Baseball. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the Beach, Boating and Hunting. Surviving is his wife, Eleanor L.
(McMillen) Conrad, his five children; Karen Morton and husband Doug, of Camp Hill, Robin Kennedy and husband Robert, of Alvin, Texas,
Linda Williams and husband Jim, of Irmo, South Carolina, Tammy Conrad and Robert L. Conrad Jr. both of Carlisle, two sisters;
Violet Riffle, of Iowa, and Winnie Deardorff of Claymont, Delaware, 11-Grandchildren, and 7-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his daughter, Sandra Bunnell, three sisters; Gladys DeFrank Mary Suky, Margaret Aston, and two brothers; Harold and Carl Conrad.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the Richardson Funeral Home, Enola. A viewing will be held
from 10:00 AM until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
