Robert S. Fuhrer

Robert S. Fuhrer, 93, of Enola passed away Friday, August 16, 2019

in Country Meadows Retirement Community, Mechanicsburg. Robert was

born in Grove City, PA, and was the son of the late Stanley H. and Anna O.

Fuhrer. Robert was a graduate of Lower Mahanoy Township High School,

Dalmatia, PA. He was a Marine Veteran of WW II. He was a retired employee

with TRW, INC Harrisburg. Robert was a member of Summerdale United

Methodist Church, Perry Lodge #458 F.&M. , Marysville, PA, Scottish Rite

Valley of Harrisburg, PA, Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg, PA, Tall Cedars of

Lebanon #125, Millersburg, PA, Capital Area Scottish Rite Club, Upper

Dauphin Shrine Club. He was the Past Commander and Life Member

American Legion Post 504, Mandata, PA, and the Millersburg VFW Post 5507,

TRW Pioneers, Life member of ISA, and the Lykens Valley Roamers FCRV Camping Club.

Robert is survived by his wife Doris E. Shover, his son, Kim R. Fuhrer and wife Majorie,

a daughter, Bonnie K. Pace and husband James, a brother, William L. Fuhrer, a sister,

Audrey J. Brosius and husband James, his Grandchildren; Scott D. Fuhrer, Corey I. Fuhrer

and wife Joann, Jeremy D. Pace and wife MengChun, Michael E. Pace and wife Stephanie,

Courtney E. Book and husband Kyley, and Jackson S. Fuhrer, his Great-Grandchildren;

Katie Fuhrer, Jackie Fuhrer, Jasiah A. Book, Sayla K. Book, and many Nieces and Nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Hilda A. Fuhrer, son, J. Scott Fuhrer, sisters; Arlene Fuhrer

and Barbara Mary Lupold. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 23, 2019

in Summerdale Untied Methodist Church, 203 2nd Street, Summerdale, PA. A visitation will be

held from 10:00 AM until time of services Friday at the Church. Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorials may be made to
