Ann Denise Chambers, of Enola entered into eternal rest on Tuesday November 28, 2023. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and raised in Kearny New Jersey. She was born in 1951 the second of seven children of George and Susan Reynolds. Ann graduated from St. Cecilia High School, Kearny New Jersey in 1969. She went on to become a Registered Nurse schooling at William Patterson College. She worked at West Hudson Hospital in Kearny before marrying her husband Thomas Chamber and moving to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. There she furthered her education to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing continuing to dedicate herself to the profession she so loved. Ann couldn’t help but guiding and coaching other sisters and cousins into the profession. She worked at Holy Spirit Hospital and Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg. She worked most of her career in Intensive Care. Ann loved to travel the world having seen Austria, Germany, Paris and Ireland to name a few places. She was an avid reader, keeping her local public library in business. Ann loved to cook alongside her husband, and sewed much of her wardrobe most of her adult life. In addition to her husband Thomas, Ann is survived by two sons, Nolan Thomas and Michael Joseph Chambers. Nolan is married to Tabatha Hahn, of Harrisburg PA, and they gave Ann and Tom their first granddaughter, Rhea. Also surviving are one brother William Reynolds husband of Christine , and five sisters, Susan Rineer wife of Larry, Mary Mikan, widow of Stephan, Bernadette Ryan wife of Andrew, Rose Lombard wife of John, Joyce Lopez, wife of Ruben as well as many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 12:30 pm in the Richardson Funeral Home LLC 29 S. Enola Dr. Enola, PA 17025. A viewing will be held from 11:30 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA 17003. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to a local charity of your choice.
