Barbara Morgan Obituary

Barbara Ann Morgan, 82 formerly of Enola, PA passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2022. She was born on May 23, 1939 to the late Cecil and Beatrice Morgan. Barbara lived a long and full life graduating from Enola High School in 1957. She loved playing the piano and at the age of 12 she was an Organist at the Summerdale United Methodist Church. Barbara worked for the Commonwealth of PA for 13 years and then 18 years for the City of Harrisburg. Barbara retired in 2004 and completed her 3rdterm as President of AFSCME Local 521 in April 2006. She joined AFSCME Retired Public Employees of PA, Subchapter 8902, where she served as secretary, treasurer and then Vice President. Besides playing the piano most of her life, Barbara enjoyed collecting sports card and gardening. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We will remember Barbara for her loving spirit, her playfulness and her occasional, endearing stubbornness. She was such a light in this sometimes-dark world. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Barbara touched the lives of so many people across multiple generations. During her time with us, she made a point to always help anyone with whatever she could. Anyone who knows Barbara knows that her family meant everything to her. She loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing that Barbara is now at peace surrounded by light. Barbara was predeceased by her twin brother Thomas O. Morgan, a half-sister Yvonne Cox, Her youngest son Breton Lee Stuckey, Her grandson Bart W. Stuckey Jr. and great-grandson Rhyder J.B Stuckey. Barbara is survived by two brothers, Donald W. Morgan married to Linda Morgan and Frank Morgan married to Karen Morgan. Barbara is also survived by her two sons, Bret E. Stuckey and Bart W. Stuckey Sr. Grandchildren Ronald Stuckey, Elizabeth Stuckey, Jonathon Stuckey and Matt Stuckey married to Britini Stuckey and 6 great-grandchildren and longtime best friend Teri Frey. She also leaves many other family members including nieces and nephew and dear friends. We will miss Barbara dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts. May Her Playful soul shine on. Services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home LLC in Enola, Pa on Thursday,  April 7, 2022. Viewing at 11:00am Services at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Summerdale United Methodist Church 203 Second Street Summerdale Pa, 17093.
