Carole Markulin Obituary

Carole N. Markulin, 79, of Enola, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 in the Gardens at West Shore.

Carole’s passion was in the garment industry, she was a master seamstress owning several fabric marts,

including shops in the Enola, Summerdale Plaza, and York, PA. She is survived by her children; Ricky Penrod of South Fork, PA, Brian Markulin and wife (Samii) of Virginia, Debora Sartain of Lewes, Delaware, a brother, Carey Penrod and wife Betty of Middletown, Virginia, four Grandchildren; Douglas Sartain, Wesley Sartain, Lindsay and husband TJ, and Brianna Markulin, and three Great-Grandchildren; Ethan, Cadence, and Jordon. Carole was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Markulin, and three brothers; Don Penrod, Regis Penrod, and Jay Penrod. Services will be held at a later date.
