Daniel P. Buffington

Daniel Paul Buffington, 60, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019.  He was born on February 17, 1959, the son of the late Robert R. & Patricia A. (Layton) Buffington.  In addition to is parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Rob, brother-in-law David, and nieces Lisa & Tammy.  He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Diann (Quigley) Buffington, his daughter and son-in-law, Joy & Mike Bechtel, 2 grandsons, Liam & Rory.  Also mourning his passing are brothers, Dave, Steve & Tim, brother-in-law Dale, sisters-in-law, Kathy, Linda, Kelly, Jeanne & Patty, 10 nephews, 3 nieces, 7 grandnieces and 15 grandnephews.  He will be remembered most for his love/hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys, his love of corny jokes, ghost stories, Game Show Network, KISS and just about every kind of music.  We are so fortunate that he passed down that sense of humor and love of music to his grandsons.  His earthly remains will be in the care of Richardson Funeral Home of Enola. Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 28th, presided over by his uncle, Rev. Dr. Ed Zeiders. at Rescue Fire Hall, 3701 N. Sixth Street, Harrisburg, PA at 10 am.  Memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
