David P. Ash

David P. Ash, of Middletown, PA passed away on October 11, 2023.

 David was born January 10, 1946 and is survived by his wife Anna B. Ash, to whom he was married for over 30 years. Two natural children, Cecelia l. Ash, Brett A. Ash, two stepchildren Nickolay Makariev, and Boris Jivkov, one grandson Prestyn Mentzer, and brother Jerry Ash. David is preceded in death by his parents Lee Ash and Goldie Ash and one brother Clyde L. Ash. David served in the U.S Army fighting in the Vietnam War, was a lifetime member of the Mechanicsburg VFW, a life member of the DAV, a member of the Middletown American Legion. David retired from the Insulation Workers Local 23 of Harrisburg, PA. David was an avid tennis player, and was invited four times to team nationals for tournaments. He also enjoyed playing volleyball for many years. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Richardson Funeral Home 29 S. Enola Dr. Enola. Viewings will be held Friday, October 20, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at Rolling Green Cemetery Camp Hill following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to the, Disabled American Veterans of PA-4219 E. Trindle Rd. Camp Hill, PA 17011.
