Obituary

David R. Hersh Sr. 63, of Wormleysburg passed away Monday, April 4 ,2022 at home with his family by his side. David was the son of the late Leon and Edna Hersh. David served in the NAVY on the USS RANGER and retired from the Commonwealth of PA as a Prison Guard. David was a past member of the Summerdale United Methodist Church, enjoyed playing bingo,  loved old time TV shows, the Baltimore Orioles, the Jets and his cat Floyd. David is survived by his wife Linda S. Hersh, his children, Jacqueline (James) Fletcher of Newport, Pamela (Matthew) Hoover of Duncannon, Jason (Tammy Kretzing) Donson of Elliotsburg, David Hersh Jr of Duncannon, sisters, Cathy Erickson of Enola and Cindy Gates of South Carolina, 17 Grandchildren and 1 Great- grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia L. Hersh and his daughter Jennifer L. Watkins. Services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 12 noon in the Richardson Funeral Home LLC, Enola. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Duncannon Cemetery.
