Dennis E. Long

Dennis Elwood Long, 76, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 surrounded by family.  Dennis was the son of the late Phyllis and Elwood Long and Grandfather of the late Brianna Saytar. He is survived by his wife Lois (Kulp) Long, his son; Keith (Liz) Long and daughter Tammy( Andrew) Oliver.  Denny (Poppy)  also leaves behind 5 grandchildren Keith Long, Drew Oliver, Tyler Oliver, Brandon Oliver, Brittany Oliver, and 2 great-grandchildren Roman Kisela and Alaina Kisela all whom he loved so much..   He was survived in death by his sister Sherry (Jack) Predix, brother Darwin (Sandy) Long, and sister Stacy (Russell) Mutzabaugh.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and the many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  He always enjoyed watching his family participate in sporting events and getting together for a day of bowling.  Denny loved being at the beach, riding his Harley Davidson and was a loyal Miami Dolphin’s Fan.    Denny was a member of the Enola Legion Post 751, Enola, PA, and Marysviile Moose, Marysville, PA. A celebration of Dennis’s life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Enola Legion Post 751, 295 W. Shady Lane, Enola, PA,  In Lieu of flowers a memorial contribution can be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center (10V), IMO (Dennis Long), 1700 S. Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA  17042.
