Doris J. Gates

Doris Jean Gates, 97 went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Kadima Nursing Home of Campbelltown , Pa. She was born April 26, 1922 in Harrisburg, PA and was a graduate of William Penn. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Donald R. Gates Sr., and three sons, Barry L., Edward A. and Thomas F. Gates. She is survived by Donald R. Jr. of Arkansas and Patricia A. Herneisey of Hershey. She left behind 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 18 great- great grandchildren Graveside services will be held at Rolling Green Cemetery on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 11:00 am.
