Dorothy J. Kirkessner

Dorothy J. Kirkessner 95 formally of Enola passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Country Meadows of Mechanicsburg. She was born to the late John W. Campbell and Helen C. (Knaby) Campbell.  She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Kirkessner and her son Donald Kirkessner. She is survived by a son Gerald Kirkessner(Shirley), 5 Grandchildren: Andrew Kirkessner, Timothy Kirkessner, Jan Lynch, Amy Carchidi, Beth Miller,7 great- Grandchildren: Nicholas Kirkessner, Jessica Lynch, Alexandra Lynch, Aidan Miller, Morgan Miller, Makayla Carchidi, Jackson Carchidi,  and several nieces and nephews. She was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Church of Enola, the American Business Women Association and Eastern Star. She graduated from Enola High School in 1941. She started work at Lemoyne Trust in the early 1960's and retired from M&T Bank in 1989. Her interest was her family , friends, church, and music. She was very involved with her children, grandchildren,nieces and nephews and their families.   Services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00Am in the Zion Lutheran Church 265 N. Enola Dr.Enola. A viewing will be held from 10:00AM until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church 265 N. Enola Dr. Enola,PA 17025.
