Dorothy R. Kreitzer

Dorothy R. Kreitzer, 94 of Enola, passed away, March 24, 2021. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Martin) Ritter and the wife of the late Edward H. Kreitzer. Dorothy was a member of the Enola First Church of God where she was involved with the Senior Bible Study group, Seniors Sunday School Class, and the Senior Life Group. Dorothy attended the Senior Life Camp at the Doubling Gap Center, Camp YoliJwa. She was a member of the West Enola Fire Company. She also worked at the dress factory in Mechanicsburg, and she also worked as a clerk at the West Shore Farmers Market for many years. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, ceramics, and different arts and crafts. Dorothy is survived by her children, James E. (Linda) Kreitzer of Carlisle, Robert A. (Patricia) Kreitzer of Camp Hill, Angela S. Kreitzer of Enola, and her siblings: Clair Roller, Marian (Donald) Deckman, Mary Shields, 7 grandchildren (Heather, Robert, Matthew, Adrienne, Jamie, Lesley, and Richard), and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward and siblings: Millie Heffner, Ruth Lindsey, Esther Taylor, Samuel Ritter, Daniel Ritter, Alice Rudy, and Velma Fertenbaugh,. Services will be held, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in The Enola First Church of God 9 Sherwood Circle, Enola at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00 am until time of services at the church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to her church at Enola First Church of God, 9 Sherwood Circle Enola, PA 17025 or Hospice of Central Pa at 1320 Linglestown Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17110.
