Gale B. Plantz

Gale B. Plantz, 93, formerly of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg, Pa. Gale’s childhood roots were in the Enola, Pa area, and was the son of the late Morris and Viola (Strausbaugh) Plantz. Gale was an Army veteran and later worked in the Harrisburg and Lancaster regions.  Gale retired from Bowser Construction Company of Lancaster as an Estimator. Gale loved the outdoors, reading, classical music and working with his hands. Gale was married to Kathryn E. Wagner in 1951, until her passing in 1996. Gale is survived by his sons Mark G. (Angela) Plantz of Harrisburg and John E. (Linda) Plantz of Harrisburg, a brother Donald (Joanne) Plantz of Enola and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Bernard (Bernie) F. Plantz. Services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Richardson Funeral Home LLC 29 S. Enola Dr. Enola, PA 17025. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
