John V. DiMartile

John V. DiMartile, 92, of Summerdale, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Thornwald Home of Carlisle. John was the son of the late Pasquale and Gracietta (Forlizzi) DiMartile. John was an Army Veteran of The Korean War. John was a retired Supervisor for Conrail. John was an avid Notre Dame fan. He enjoyed Mall walking, boating, And Throwing Quoits, most of all, spending time with his family and friends. John was married to E. Ruth (Smith) DiMartile for 66 years until her passing on June 10, 2020.  He is survived by a son, John M. DiMartile and wife Karen Sue of Enola, 3-Daughters; Diana M. Walborn and husband Dale of Summerdale, Linda Secord and husband Terry of Enola, and Leslie P. McDade and John Gilbert of Enola, 7-Grandchildren; Maria, Daniel Jason, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Nicholas, Jamie, and Monica, 10-Great-Grandchildren, and 6-Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 3-Brothers; Ivo, Arthur, and Bruno DiMartile. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 12:00 Noon in the Richardson Funeral Home LLC, Enola. A viewing will be held Friday from 11:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.
