Katherine E. Vandegriff

Katherine E. Vandegriff, On Friday May 26, 2023 Kathi, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 70. Kathi was born January 20, 1953 in Lancaster PA. She graduated fromPpequea Valley School District. Her career as a truck driver was one she loved and was proud of. Kathi loved to travel and the freedom of doing it alone. After her retirement she purchased her camper and did just that! The only requirement for her travel stops were there must be a place to go fishing close by. She had a wonderful laugh, loved to flirt, made friends wherever she went and was a strong woman who lived life exactly the way she wanted. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Thelma Vandegriff, her son David R. Hersh Jr., a brother Joseph Vandegriff II and a great-grandson Johnny Shane McCauley II. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy and Jeff Zerbe, Heidi and John McCauley, 9 grandchildren, Brandin Morrow, Destinie Tatum, Johnny McCauley, Matthew R. Spade, Zachary D. Spade Justin R. McCauley, Nicole M. Hersh, Brittany L. Hersh and Tiffany Hersh, and 9 great- grandchildren, Cota Morrow, Elliot Tatum, Aj Spade, Ellie Spade, Landin McCauley, Haisley McCauley, Kellin Wyatt, Naomi Milliron and Caroline Milliron. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery 2239 Strasburg Rd. East Fallowfield Twp. 19320.
