Kathryn E. Holderbaum

Kathryn (Katy) Elyse Holderbaum age 36 of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at home.  Born, February 28, 1985, she was the daughter of Helen (Smart) and David Wood and the late Patrick Holderbaum.  She is survived by her fiancé, Ralph Eckert and step-daughter, Alexis Matz, her sisters, Laura Holderbaum of Seattle, WA, Adrienne Kerstetter of Denver, CO, and Lana Stitzel and her husband, Gary of Enola, PA, two nephews, Gabriel and Maxwell Stitzel, and one niece, McKenna Stitzel.  Katy was a life-time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Enola.  She was a graduate of East Pennsboro High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State University.  Katy loved spending time with her step-daughter, nephews and niece.  She adored her family, was especially close with her parents and deeply missed her father following his passing in 2018.  She had a passion for music, anything purple, jewelry and purses. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 6839 Wertzville Road, Enola, Pa.  A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to her church.
