Mary E. Lockey

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, Mary E. Lockey (nee. Brown), a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at the age of 97.  Mary was born on July 2, 1925 in Phillipsburg, PA to Sam and Emma Brown.  As a young woman Mary worked cleaning houses and was a cigar roller at General Cigar Plant.  In her twenties she met and married Raymond Lockey.  They raised three sons, Samuel “Sam”, Harold “Butch”, and Robert “Bob”.  After marrying and starting a family, Mary moved to West Fairview, PA.  Mary dedicated her life to her three sons as a stay-at-home mom.  She served as a den mother to Cub Scout Pack 50, was a member of the West Fairview Fire Company’s Lady Auxiliary as well as a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in West Fairview.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Emma, husband Raymond, grandson Ryan, and great grandson Trevor.  She is survived by her three sons, Sam, Butch, Bob and his wife Sandy.  Six grandchildren: Josh, Jennifer, Raeanne, Jason, Jereme and Jessica.  Sixteen great grandchildren Tessa, Tyler, Maddie, Aidan, Izebel, Ember, Kamden, Jaslyn, Jayda, Brynnley, Bryant, Makenna, Kage, Sophia, Ryder and Trent.  A viewing will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 12pm to 1pm at Richardson Funeral Home in Enola, PA.  Service will immediately follow the viewing.  After the service the burial will take place at the Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill.
