MaryAnn E. Holmes-Sanderson, 72, of Enola PA passed away on December 12, 2020 in UPMC Pinnacle West Shore hospital. She was an inspirational friend, teacher, and role model especially to her son. She took delight in everyone of her family and friends company. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, crafting, gardening, The Pittsburgh Steelers, and all the time well spent with her family and friends. Born in Manhattan NY In 1948 she graduated from Cochranton HS In 1966. She furthered her education at IUP with a 4 year degree in Family Consumer Science and pursued her masters at PSU in Child Development. Her first teaching job was at Newport Elementary School. After moving to Boston for a short time she settled in Enola PA where she lived the remainder of her life while she worked and retired at West Shore School District. She is survived by her son Sean Michael Sanderson (35) of Enola PA, grandson Levi Aaron Sanderson (5) and Cash Wilder Sanderson (1). She will be greatly missed by her abundance of dear friends and family. A Celebration of life will be held next spring at the Enola Sportsman’s Association.
