Merle K. Bair III

Merle K. Bair III, 57 of New Bloomfield passed away Friday July 14, 2023. Merle was the son of the late Merle K. Bair II and Rita M. Seibert. Merle served in the United States ARMY as an Airborne Ranger and received an Achievement medal award for a Dragon Gunner Task Force and was marked as an Honored Warrior.  Merle was a member of the New Bloomfield United Methodist Church, loved Sprint Car racing and watching E.P. Football and played for E.P. in his younger years. Merle is survived by his wife Susan A. Bair, a son Cole A. Bair, his sister’s, Rita (Butch Hammaker) Bair of Enola, Mystery (Clair) Wintermyer of York Haven, Misty (Stephen) Donmoyer of Etters. Services will be held Saturday July 29, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Yocumtown Church of God 160 Red Mill Rd. Goldsboro, Pa 17319. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of service at the church. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the church.
