Norma D. Scarazzo

Norma D. Scarazzo, age 96, of Harrisburg, and formerly of Enola, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022. Norma was born May 23, 1926 Patchogue, Long Island, New York. She is the daughter of the late Raymond E. and May Agnes (Miller) Duffield. Norma grew up in Ronkonkoma, New York. During her years at home she worked at her parent’s beach front pavilion on Lake Ronkonkoma, known as Duffield’s Beach. Norma graduated from Sayville High School. She attended RPI-Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. It was here she met her future husband Richard D. Scarazzo. Dick and Norma were married April 12, 1947. Dick passed away on February 26, 1998, just months after their 50th wedding anniversary. Eventually Norma was assisted Dick in the insurance business. She completed her Charter Life Under-writer, CLU. For Many years she was a member at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Enola, PA. Norma helped with the production of making peanut butter eggs, helped with funeral luncheons and other church activities. Norma was in the Girl Scouts. Norma and Dick leave four Children to cherish their memory, Donald A. and Maureen Scarazzo, James R. and Lisa Scarazzo, Raymond Scarazzo, Evelyn (Scarazzo) Moist and husband Tim, eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 225 Salt Road, Enola, PA 17025. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at Tri-County Memorial Gardens, 740 Wyndamere Road, Lewisberry, PA 17339.
