Reverend Walter B Hofmann born February 14,1956 went to be with the Lord on Monday May 10,2021.
Walter is survived by his wife Karen and two daughters, Jennifer Franklin and Sarah Neidzielski, 3
grandchildren, Marshall, Layla and Noah. Walter was born in Lynnwood, California to Alice and Byron
Harrison and later moved with his mother, Alice to Somerville, Massachusetts. He was later adopted by
his stepfather Richard Hofmann. They later moved to South Dennis, Massachusetts with his parents
and grandparents. Walt graduated from Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School and later attended Faith
School of Theology. He graduated and moved to Pennsylvania to become a youth pastor at York 1st
Assembly, York Pa where he met his wife Karen. Walt later pastored two Assembly of God churches ,
one in Lemoyne Pa and another in Milton, Pa. Walter completed his master’s of Science degree in Theology from Faith Bible College International and graduated in May 2018.
He was blessed with a beautiful singing voice that he shared in Bible School ministry and later singing
with his wife. Walt loved to teach and preach the word of God in church services and in small groups at
their home. Walter authored a book entitled “Love Be Reason” which is based on the book of Solomon.
Walter was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved the Lord with all his heart. He will be greatly missed. A viewing will be held May 14, 2021 at 10 am followed by a funeral service at 11am at the River of God church 747 Wertzville Rd, Enola Pa . Burial to follow at Perry heights Cemetery in Marysville, Pa. Service will be livestreamed on ROG facebook.
