Shirley was born on the third month, the seventh day of 1942 to Kenneth and Mary Estright in Enola, Pennsylvania. Shirley went to be with our Heavenly Father and reunite with her husband Ken and children, Yvonne and Joseph on August 18, 2020. Shirley, known as Nana to many was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and caregiver to all. She spent her life doing for and taking care of others, physically, emotionally and financially. Shirley never knew a stranger and invited all into her life and home. Shirley married Kenneth Eugene Blackburn on October 29, 1960. They spent over 55 years together loving, laughing, traveling, giving and bringing joy to those around them. Shirley was preceded in death by her children, Yvonne Elizabeth, David Joseph, her husband Ken, her grandson Timothy David Ruffle and her parents. Shirley is survived by her children: Lorraine Ehret, Celina, Texas, Charlotte (Mike) Ruffle, Celina , Texas, Jeanette (Sherman) Ezell, Riverbank, CA, her grandchildren: Brett Ehret, Nicole (Dane) Martin, Renee (Dirik) Jones, Tyler Ruffle, Shaun (Dana) Ehret and Erica (Jordan) Amy, Courtney Ezell, Yvonne Ezell and Kenny Ezell, her great grandchildren: Tinsley Ehret, Caleb Martin, Major Jones, Colten Martin, Graham Jones, Kyle Jones, and Millie Ehret, siblings; Jim (Sally) Estright, Danny (Gwen) Estright, Bob King, Toni (Eric) Graves, Steven (Olga) Blackburn, Doris Estright, Lee Beisel and many nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 11:00 Am in the East Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Lou San Bible Camp, 2200 Blue Mountain Pkwy, Harrisburg, PA 17112. www.mtlousan.org
