Tammy Louise Luckenbill, 61, of Enola, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Homeland Center. She was born on May 1, 1962 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Ruth Boyle and Harry Smith. Surviving is her significant other, Barry Van Aulen; three children, Frank Luckenbill III of Camp Hill, Andrew Luckenbill and his wife, Jenifer of Enola, Heather Bittinger and her husband, Christopher of Enola; 6 grandchildren, Natalie Bittinger, Emma Fink, Lucas Bittinger, Ella Luckenbill, Carson Bittinger and Grayson Luckenbill; Five siblings; Robin Queen (Kenny), Paul Smith (Kathy), Beulah Strawser (Randy), George Smith (Deb), Diane Smith (Steven). She is preceded in death by her former spouse, Frank Luckenbill Jr and one sister, Amelia Smith.
Tammy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Enola United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and performing in dinner theatres. She enjoyed teaching in the children’s ministry. She was often found cross stitching, including making various wedding and graduation gifts for those closest to her. When she wasn’t found cross stitching, she was baking with her grandchildren and creating memories. Tammy was a passionate fan of the Washington Capitols and the Hershey Bears. The summers were filled with camping trips and going to country music festivals with her significant other. She experienced great joy from the holiday seasons and various family gatherings. Tammy will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life with us on Saturday the 18th of November 2023 at Enola United Methodist Church at 22 Salt Road of Enola, PA. Visitation will be at 10 am with a service starting at 11 am. Reception will follow with light refreshments.
