Veronica A. Sentz

September 29, 1922 ~ September 1, 2022 (age 99)


Veronica A. Wonderlick Sentz, 99 of New Cumberland gained her angel wings on Thursday, September 1, 2022, 28 days before her 100th birthday.  Born in Shenandoah, PA she grew up in Frackville, PA moving to New Cumberland in 1953 with her husband Ralph E. Sentz, who pre-deceased her in 2009, to raise their family.  She was a loving and caring mom to daughters Cheryl Bumgardner and Debbie Hobaugh (Bob) with her pride and joy being Nana to her six grandchildren, Joshua Zeiders (Ashley), Kimberly Hobaugh, Matthew Hobaugh (Desaray,) Dustin Hobaugh, Jeb Bumgardner (Laura), Shane Bumgardner (Ashlee), and her 14 great grandchildren, Adriana Zeiders (Casey), Kyan, Bradyn, Ashlyn, Kaylee, JJ, and Maddy Zeiders, Rayna, Jacob, Mikah, Abel and Rhys Bumgardner, Chase Hobaugh and Knox Ritter.  She is also survived by her brother, Richard Wonderlick (Jane). She was the strength behind our family, loving mother, Nana and friend.  Funeral services will be held with a private family viewing Thursday morning, September 8, 2022 at Richardson Funeral Home LLC, Enola followed by a service at 10:30 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church (New Cumberland.)  Burial will be at Ft. Indiantown Gap at 12:30pm.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Ralph Sentz Scholarship Fund at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, PA or the Hearing Loss Association of the Capital Region, 3301 E Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
