Wallace Grissinger Obituary

Wallace B. Grissinger, 92 of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Enola, passed away, Monday, December 21, 2020 at Bethany Village of Mechanicsburg. He was born February 28, 1928 in Harrisburg to the late Levi and Bertha Grissinger. He is survived by his wife Susanna of 70 years, a daughter, Cheryl Leader and Wendy Richard (William), several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a Plant Manager of Harrisburg Packing Co.. He was a Korean War Veteran. Wallace was an 80 year member of the former Second United Church of Christ in Harrisburg where he was an elder emeritus having served as Deacon, elder and trustee. He is currently a member of St. James Presbyterian Church of Mechanicsburg. He was a member of Perry Lodge 3458, tall Cedars Harrisburg Forrest 43, Harrisburg Consistory Scottish Rite, Capital Area Scottish Rite, Capital Area Scottish Rite Club and Zembo Temple AAONMS. Wallace enjoyed fishing, hunting, Sudoku, travel and woodworking in his shop, having made many beautiful pieces of furniture. Private burial and services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
